Victim Assistance

South Carolina became a leader in victim advocacy by establishing the first victim assistance program in the nation. Under the leadership of Attorney General Henry McMaster, the state offers information and support to victims and their families as cases make their way through the criminal justice system. We hope the following information will help you to understand the complex judicial process.
